Claritas

Claritas V.2026.1.1 (11-Mar-2026)

The 2026.1.1 release introduces new capabilities to enhance seismic processing workflows, data visualisation, and quality control. This update includes AI/ML-assisted water bottom picking, the full production release of the SeisViewer 3D visualisation tool, enhanced velocity model export, expanded QC attributes, and new utilities for velocity model conversion. The release also marks the transition from GLOBEClaritas to Claritas under the Petrosys Group brand.

Key Updates

  • AI/ML Water Bottom Picking (PROBPICK) – Uses machine learning techniques to estimate and pick the water bottom on HR and UHR seismic datasets.
  • SeisViewer – Full Production Release – The seismic viewer is now fully released, supporting visualisation of 3D volumes with Inline, Crossline, and Timeslice displays, along with enhanced analysis tools and header inspection.
  • Improved Velocity Model Export (Tomo3D) – Enhanced export of near-surface velocity models, enabling their use as part of initial depth velocity models.
  • Peak Frequency QC Attribute (AREAL Module) – New capability to calculate and output peak frequency attributes for improved field QC and analysis within AREAL or Condor.
  • SEG-Y to Claritas NMO Conversion Utility – Converts SEG-Y velocity models to Claritas NMO3D ASCII format for display in Isovels and use within the IMAGE_K3D module.
  • Product Rebrand – GLOBEClaritas is now known simply as Claritas, reflecting the transition to the Petrosys Group brand. Updated branding, contact details, and website links are included in this release.

Exchange

Exchange v2026.2 (17-Apr-26)

Exchange v2026.2 makes it easier to automate workflows, extend seismic data exchange between Petrel and OpenWorks, and deploy in remote or Linux environments. It also expands data source support and improves usability when working with large, repeatable datasets.

Key Features and Enhancements

  • Automation and Workflow Execution
Exchange jobs can now be run via the command line, making it easier to automate repeatable workflows and integrate Exchange into existing processing pipelines.
  • Bulk Editing and Usability Improvements
Expanded bulk editing across formations, log curves, and OpenWorks seismic data reduces manual effort when working at scale, while automatic output refresh keeps results instantly visible.
  • Deeper Petrel and OpenWorks Integration
New support for transferring 3D seismic volumes, horizons, and surveys from Petrel to OpenWorks extends Exchange further into seismic workflows, with improved connection stability for more reliable transfers.
  • New RokDoc Connector and Expanded CRS Support
Support for Ikon RokDoc 2026.2 broadens well data exchange workflows, while automatic CRS handling ensures spatial consistency without additional user input.
